MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION The LOTUS CORTINA REGISTER was founded in early 1979 by Phil Baskerville, and operated initially within CLUB LOTUS. As interest in the Register grew it became increasingly apparent that the LOTUS CORTINA warranted a Club of its own. At this time only a small percentage of owners and enthusiasts were members of CLUB LOTUS, and therefore, the decision was taken to form a totally independent organisation catering specifically for the LOTUS CORTINA owner and enthusiast. The LOTUS CORTINA REGISTER was formally established as an independent club in October 1980, and formed into a Company Limited by Guarantee in January 1987. We currently have a world wide following from Europe to Japan, New Zealand, Australia, the U.S.A. and Scandinavia. The aim of the REGISTER is to maintain records of Lotus Cortinas, provide help and assistance to owners, and perhaps most importantly to provide the motivation and means through which owners and enthusiasts can fully appreciate and enjoy the car. Currently services offered include:- The quarterly issue of a club magazine. Advice with the location of spares. Insurance advice Parts and spares discounts Events, film nights, car shows etc. We are also very keen to promote the sporting side. Archive material and historical information.
